Business Systems Developer

About the role

We are looking for a Business Systems Developer to design, develop and maintain our practice, case and document management platforms, including the iManage Document Management System. Working closely with the IT Manager and departmental stakeholders, you will ensure these systems run smoothly and support the organisation’s legal workflows.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain the case management and iManage document management systems.
• Analyse and optimise workflow processes to improve productivity and compliance.
• Create and maintain standard document templates for system consistency.
• Produce system documentation and management reports as required.
• Provide application‑specific support to end‑users and assist with general IT support.
• Plan and deliver end‑user training sessions.
• Collaborate with department heads on system enhancements and new programmes.
• Undertake additional IT tasks as needed.

Required profile

• Proven experience in business systems development and maintenance.
• Strong understanding of legal workflows and case management processes.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
• High attention to detail with strong prioritisation abilities.

Required skills

• Microsoft programming languages (e.g., C#, VB.NET).
• SQL database technologies.
• Experience with iManage Document Management System.
