Business Tax Director (Senior Leadership)

About the role

This senior leadership position will head the Business Tax practice in Bristol, delivering high‑quality tax compliance and advisory services to mid‑market clients. You will shape the team’s growth, drive new business, and influence strategic direction while working in a hybrid, flexible environment.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and expand the Business Tax compliance and advisory offering.
• Provide trusted advice on complex corporate tax matters to mid‑market clients.
• Develop and manage key client relationships and drive new business opportunities.
• Coach, mentor, and develop a high‑performing tax team.
• Oversee quality, risk management, and commercial performance of the practice.

Required profile

• ACA and/or CTA qualified (or equivalent).
• Extensive corporate tax experience within a professional practice.
• Proven track record of winning work and managing senior client relationships.
• Strong leadership and communication abilities.
• Commercially minded with the capacity to juggle multiple priorities.
