Business Teacher (BTEC/T Level) – Leeds City College

About the role

Leeds City College is seeking a passionate Business Teacher to join the Printworks campus. You will deliver BTEC and T Level courses to learners aged 16‑19, helping them develop both academic knowledge and employability skills.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, deliver and assess Level 2 and 3 Business curricula for full‑time students.
• Create industry‑relevant resources that reflect current business practices.
• Monitor student progress, attendance and achievement throughout the academic year.
• Collaborate with the Business team to ensure cohesive lesson delivery.
• Provide guidance and support to learners, fostering a positive learning environment.

Required profile

• Experience teaching Business in a Further Education setting at Levels 1‑3.
• Demonstrated ability to improve student retention, achievement and attendance.
• Strong interpersonal skills, using restorative practice techniques.
• Organised, flexible and a positive role model for students and staff.
