Business Travel Consultant

About the role

Amex GBT is seeking a Business Travel Consultant to join its remote team in the United Kingdom. The role involves providing high‑quality travel booking and advisory services to corporate clients, ensuring compliance with travel policies and delivering a seamless experience.

Key responsibilities

• Advise and arrange travel for individual and group corporate customers, covering air, road, rail and accommodation.
• Conduct analysis and research on travel options, proactively anticipating traveler needs and promoting additional services.
• Book domestic and international itineraries using Global Distribution Systems such as Sabre, Amadeus or Galileo.
• Ensure compliance with client travel policies, service provider rules and regulatory requirements.
• Provide professional telephone service, handling special requests and resolving issues quickly.
• Collaborate with team members to coach, mentor and improve service levels.

Required profile

• Advanced knowledge of at least one GDS (Sabre, Amadeus or Galileo).
• Prior experience in business travel or related travel‑industry roles.
• Strong attention to detail, professional written and verbal communication, and integrity with personal traveler information.
• Ability to work flexible hours, Monday‑Friday 7:00‑19:00, and reside in the UK.
• Team‑oriented mindset with openness to feedback.
