Business Unit Risk Analyst – Market & Operational Risk Support

About the role

We have an exciting opportunity to work with a Tier 1 Investment Bank as part of their Market & Operational Risk Support (MORS) team. This fast‑paced role supports the Business Unit Risk Management function for Equity and Fixed Income businesses, monitoring counterparty and credit risk while maintaining a strong control framework.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor and escalate counterparty and credit risk across Equity and Fixed Income businesses.
• Ensure correct application of credit policies and manage ad‑hoc crisis events.
• Conduct market risk scenario analysis, limits tracking, and reporting.
• Maintain a strong control framework and own Key Risk Indicators (KRIs).
• Drive strategic initiatives, including automation and process enhancements.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with trading desks, sales, and risk teams.

Required profile

• Strong knowledge of counterparty credit risk and market risk concepts.
• Experience in risk management or credit analysis within financial services.
• Excellent analytical skills and ability to work under pressure.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities.
• Familiarity with automation initiatives and risk systems is a plus.
• Exposure to data analytics and visualization tools, such as Power BI.
