Buyer – Global Supplier Management & Procurement

About the role

We are seeking a sharp, analytical procurement professional to join our client’s fast‑paced team in Central London. As a Buyer you will manage global supplier relationships, drive cost efficiencies and ensure seamless supply‑chain operations across key sites.

Key responsibilities

• Identify, evaluate and onboard high‑performing suppliers while nurturing existing global relationships.
• Negotiate pricing, payment terms and lead times to maximise cost efficiency without compromising quality.
• Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to guarantee timely delivery of materials to sites and warehouses.
• Monitor market trends, analyse data and anticipate shifts to mitigate risks and capture buying opportunities.

Required profile

• Proven experience in a purchasing or buying role, preferably with exposure to global supply chains.
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to turn data into actionable procurement strategies.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills, capable of influencing stakeholders at all levels.
• Proactive problem‑solver who thrives in a collaborative, fast‑paced environment.
