About the role
We are seeking an experienced Buyer to join a global tier‑one supplier in Leeds. The role is site‑based, full‑time and offers the chance to work within a professional team of five, focusing on supplier management in the manufacturing and automotive sectors.
Key responsibilities
- Manage an existing portfolio of UK and European suppliers.
- Build and maintain strong supplier relationships.
- Negotiate cost reductions and review service levels.
- Analyse MRP purchasing reports to support procurement decisions.
- Collaborate with a small, highly professional team.
Required profile
- Proven experience as a Buyer or in a similar procurement role.
- Background in manufacturing, engineering or automotive sectors.
- Strong understanding of MRP purchasing processes.
- Ability to work full‑time, Monday‑Friday, 37 hours per week.
