About the role
We are seeking an experienced Buyer to join a global tier‑one supplier in the manufacturing and automotive sector. Based in Leeds, this permanent, site‑based position offers a professional environment with a small, focused team.
Key responsibilities
- Manage a portfolio of UK and European supplier accounts.
- Build and maintain strong supplier relationships.
- Negotiate cost reductions and review service levels.
- Analyse MRP purchasing reports to support purchasing decisions.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure timely delivery of materials.
Required profile
- Previous experience as a Buyer or in a related purchasing role.
- Knowledge of manufacturing, engineering or automotive sectors.
- Strong understanding of supplier management and cost negotiation.
