Buyer – Procurement & Planning (Permanent)

About the role

Terex is seeking a motivated Buyer to join its Campsie site. Reporting to the Senior Buyer, you will manage the flow of production parts from both domestic and international suppliers, ensuring daily production targets are met.

Key responsibilities

• Schedule and release orders to meet daily production demand.
• Interpret and implement Sales and Operational Plans (S&OP).
• Maintain a portfolio of suppliers, fostering strong relationships.
• Provide supplier forecasts and drive performance improvements.
• Analyse stock levels against excess & obsolete (E&O) reports and recommend actions.
• Collaborate with suppliers on quality expectations and cost‑reduction opportunities.
• Manage engineering change pricing, scheduling and implementation.
• Support tendering, resourcing and cost‑saving projects.
• Attend morning lineside meetings and support the manufacturing area team.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years experience in material planning or purchasing.
• Proficiency in statistics and forecasting methods with an understanding of financial impact.
• Strong problem‑solving abilities and self‑motivation.

Required skills

• Experience with SAP, Oracle or other MRP systems.
