CAD/Revit Technician

About the role

We are looking for a CAD/Revit Technician to join our MEP engineering team in Winchester. You will support the delivery of high‑quality building services designs across new‑build and refurbishment projects for sectors such as defence, education, residential and healthcare.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare 2D CAD drawings and 3D Revit MEP models, including general arrangement drawings, sections, details and schedules.
• Collaborate with MEP engineers, architects, structural engineers and external consultants to produce coordinated design outputs.
• Check your own work and review outputs from others, ensuring compliance with document management and QA procedures.
• Deliver drawings and models on agreed timescales, programmes and budget constraints.
• Mentor junior team members or apprentices in CAD and Revit skills.

Required profile

• Previous experience as a CAD/Revit Technician within an MEP or building services environment, preferably in a consultancy.
• Ability to manage workload, estimate drawing times and meet deadlines in a fast‑paced setting.
• Strong team‑working and communication skills across multidisciplinary teams.
• Proactive attitude to improve workflows and processes.

Required skills

• Proficiency in AutoCAD.
• Proficiency in Revit MEP.
• Understanding of BIM standards and national BIM processes.
