Café Team Member – Part‑time

About the role

We are looking for a reliable, detail‑oriented Café Team Member to join the Leonardslee Lakes & Gardens team in Horsham. The role involves preparing and serving food and beverages, maintaining a clean and welcoming environment, and providing friendly service to guests throughout flexible opening hours, including some weekends.

Key responsibilities

• Set up the café before service, serve coffee and food, and clean up after each shift.
• Maintain high standards of presentation and hygiene in all dining areas.
• Report any maintenance issues or inventory shortages promptly to management.
• Follow Food Safety, Health and Safety procedures at all times.

Required profile

• Previous experience in a café, bar or restaurant environment is preferred.
• Strong attention to detail, punctuality and a flexible approach to working hours.
• Ability to work independently or as part of a small team, with good time‑management skills.
• Physically capable of standing for long periods and handling manual tasks such as lifting and carrying.
• Own transport is advantageous due to the location.
