Capital Allowances Director

About the role

We are seeking a Capital Allowances Director to lead and expand a specialist capital allowances practice within a nationally recognised professional services firm. The successful candidate will act as a senior adviser, delivering high‑quality tax advice to a diverse client base and shaping the growth of the service line.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the delivery of capital allowances advice across a varied portfolio of property‑related projects and corporate clients.
• Collaborate with internal Corporate Tax, VAT, Transactions and Real Estate teams to identify opportunities and provide integrated solutions.
• Build and maintain trusted relationships with clients, acting as their technical and commercial adviser.
• Drive business development by networking, identifying new work and supporting the expansion of the capital allowances offering.

Required profile

• Significant experience in capital allowances within an accountancy practice, consultancy or specialist tax environment.
• Professional qualification such as CTA or an equivalent recognised tax credential.
• Strong technical knowledge of capital allowances legislation and its practical application.
• Proven track record of managing client relationships and generating new business.
