Captain – Airbus A320

About the role

Etihad Airways is seeking an experienced Captain to command Airbus A320 aircraft. Based in London with relocation support to Abu Dhabi, you will lead flights that connect passengers worldwide while upholding the airline’s safety and service standards.

Key responsibilities

• Assume full command of the aircraft from taxi‑out to engine shutdown.
• Lead the flight and cabin crew, ensuring effective crew resource management and decisive decision‑making.
• Maintain safety, security, and operational efficiency for crew, passengers, cargo, and the aircraft.
• Operate in line with Etihad’s fuel‑efficiency and sustainability policies.
• Deliver consistent on‑time performance to meet reliability targets.

Required profile

• Minimum 5,500 total flight hours.
• At least 2,500 hours as Pilot‑in‑Command (PIC).
• Valid type rating for Airbus A320.
• Strong leadership and communication abilities.
