Capture Manager – Public Sector IT Solutions

About the role

Leidos is expanding its UK growth operations and seeks an experienced Capture Manager to lead high‑value opportunities within the UK public sector. The role is hybrid, based in Bristol with occasional travel to the Farnborough office.

Key responsibilities

• Define and execute customer engagement strategies, working directly with senior executives.
• Lead the development of winning capture strategies that align with client requirements and internal risk posture.
• Assemble and manage a high‑performing capture team, integrating relevant expertise and industry partners.
• Collaborate with the Bid Manager to produce compelling proposals that address win themes and evaluation criteria.
• Oversee deal governance, post‑submission activities, and ensure smooth hand‑over to delivery teams.

Required profile

• Proven track record securing new business in the UK public sector, including national and devolved government, security and defence.
• Experience leading capture/pursuit efforts for complex IT services contracts exceeding £20 million.
• Strong ability to build and maintain senior stakeholder relationships internally and externally.
• Demonstrated leadership in shaping and executing business‑winning strategies.
