Car Park Attendant – Summer Seasonal Role

About the role

We are seeking two enthusiastic individuals to join our team as Car Park Attendants during the summer holidays at Watergate Bay car park, Newquay. The role involves providing friendly service to visitors and ensuring the smooth operation of the car park for 3‑4 days each week.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor entry and exit points, issuing tickets and processing payments.
• Assist customers with directions, queries and any immediate needs.
• Maintain a clean and safe environment within the car park area.
• Report any incidents, vehicle damage or security concerns to management.
• Perform routine checks of barriers, signage and lighting.

Required profile

• Reliable and punctual, able to work the specified 9 am‑3 pm shift.
• Good communication skills and a friendly attitude towards the public.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a small team.
• Physical capability to stand for extended periods and assist with light manual tasks.

Required skills

• Basic numeracy for handling cash transactions.
• Familiarity with ticketing or payment systems is a plus.

What we offer
