Care Assistant – Day Shift

About the role

Sanctuary Group is seeking compassionate Care Assistants to join its Wantage nursing home on a day‑shift basis. You will work 44 hours per week, covering daytime hours from 07:30 to 19:30, providing high‑quality, dignified care to residents.

Key responsibilities

• Assist residents with personal care, hygiene, and daily living activities.
• Support meals, medication reminders, and mobility needs.
• Monitor and record residents' health status and wellbeing.
• Promote a respectful, safe, and enriching environment for all residents.
• Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to deliver consistent care.
