Care Assistant (Days) – Part‑time

About the role

South Coast Nursing Homes is seeking a compassionate Care Assistant to join the team at Abundant Grace in Seaford on a part‑time, day‑shift basis. You will work 30 hours per week on an alternating weekend schedule, providing high‑quality personal care and social interaction to our residents.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver personal care, promote independence and provide support as needed.
• Record personalised resident interactions in the electronic system.
• Serve meals and drinks, encouraging social dining experiences.
• Build relationships with residents' relatives to understand and meet their needs.

Required profile

• Experience in the healthcare sector is desirable, but training will be provided.
• Kind, caring attitude with a positive, energetic approach.
• Hard‑working, passionate about delivering superior care.
• Team player who wants to make a difference.
