Care Assistant

About the role

Join the dedicated team at Fountains Lodge Care Home in Royal Tunbridge Wells, providing person‑centred care for residents with cognitive impairments, including dementia. As a Care Assistant you will support independence, dignity and a high quality of life for each resident.

Key responsibilities

• Support residents with a wide range of needs, from companionship to personal care.
• Observe, document and report any changes in residents' behaviour in line with legislation.
• Assist residents with nutrition and hydration, encouraging them to follow their care plans.
• Deliver physical and mental stimulation through group and individual social and recreational activities.
• Maintain accurate care plans to meet regulatory and legal requirements.

Required profile

• Motivation, positivity and strong interpersonal skills.
• Excellent communication abilities.
• Capability to work both independently and as part of a team.
