Care Assistant – Night Shift

About the role

We are seeking a dedicated Care Assistant to join our exceptional care home in Altrincham, Cheshire. This permanent, full‑time night‑shift position offers the chance to support residents with dignity, kindness, and compassion while working within a supportive team.

Key responsibilities

• Act as a key worker for a designated group of residents, supporting admissions and ongoing care.
• Participate in developing and reviewing individual care plans, including those for residents with dementia.
• Provide personal and social care in line with care plans, promoting physical, emotional, and spiritual wellbeing.
• Uphold safeguarding responsibilities, infection control, and health and safety practices.

Required profile

• Respect and sensitivity for older people.
• Willingness to undertake training (Level 1 or 2 in social care encouraged).
• Good communication and listening skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Caring nature with patience and empathy.
