About the role
As a Care Assistant at a Barchester care home, you will help residents enjoy each day by delivering high‑quality care and support. You will assist with daily living activities, provide companionship, and create memorable moments in a rewarding environment.
Key responsibilities
- Support residents with food, drink and personal care according to individual care plans.
- Provide one‑to‑one time and companionship to promote wellbeing.
- Assist with daily living tasks and ensure a safe, comfortable environment.
- Follow care plans and document observations accurately.
Required profile
- Previous experience caring for older people.
- Can‑do attitude and excellent communication skills.
- Empathetic, warm‑hearted and compassionate approach.
