Cash‑in‑Transit (CIT) Driver – 4 on/4 off Shift

About the role

We are looking for a friendly and reliable Cash‑in‑Transit (CIT) Driver to join our operations team. You will be responsible for securely moving cash, coins and other valuables between customer locations across the UK, following a fixed 4‑on‑4‑off rotating shift pattern.

Key responsibilities

• Safely transport cash, coins and valuables to and from designated customer sites, including ATM replenishment.
• Follow established security procedures and protocols to protect assets in transit.
• Inspect and maintain the vehicle, reporting any issues promptly.
• Adhere to traffic, parking regulations and company policies to ensure safe driving.
• Maintain accurate transaction records, noting cash amounts and location details.
• Communicate with internal teams and clients to ensure timely deliveries.
• Handle unforeseen situations professionally to minimise disruption.

Required profile

• Valid driver’s licence with a clean record (preferred).
• Previous security or SIA experience is advantageous but not essential.
• Excellent knowledge of road safety regulations.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced, high‑pressure environment.
• Physical ability to lift heavy objects and work in confined spaces.
• Flexibility to work weekends and holidays as required.
• No live CCJs, IVAs or bankruptcy declarations.
