Cash‑in‑Transit (CIT) Driver – 4 on/4 off Shift

About the role

We are looking for a friendly and reliable Cash‑in‑Transit (CIT) Driver to join our operations team. You will be responsible for securely moving cash, coins and other valuables between customer locations across the UK, following a fixed four‑day‑on, four‑day‑off roster.

Key responsibilities

• Transport cash, coins and valuables safely to and from designated sites, including ATM replenishment.
• Follow established security procedures and company protocols throughout each journey.
• Inspect and maintain the vehicle, reporting any issues promptly.
• Adhere to traffic, parking and company safety regulations at all times.
• Maintain accurate transaction records, noting amounts and locations.
• Communicate with internal teams and clients to ensure timely deliveries.
• Handle unexpected situations professionally to minimise disruption.

Required profile

• Valid driver’s licence with a clean driving record (preferred).
• Previous security or SIA experience is advantageous but not mandatory.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work under pressure.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Physical ability to lift heavy objects and work in confined spaces.
• Flexibility to work weekends and holidays when required.
• No live CCJs, IVAs or bankruptcy declarations.
