About the role
Greene King is looking for a CEO Executive Assistant to act as a trusted strategic partner to the CEO, ensuring priorities are aligned, key actions are delivered and executive activity runs smoothly across the business. The role goes beyond a traditional executive assistant position: it involves strategic support, driving accountability, influencing senior stakeholders and helping maintain momentum on critical business priorities. It also plays a key part in improving ways of working across the wider executive assistant and administrative support community, partnering with colleagues to build capability, improve processes and adopt technology-enabled solutions.

- Prepare high-quality board, committee and leadership materials, draft executive communications, presentations, reports and briefings, and support board and governance processes.
- Manage and prioritise requests directed to the CEO, and lead and coordinate small projects on behalf of the CEO and wider executive team.
- Manage complex diaries, travel and logistics, ensure meetings are well prepared and purposeful, and represent the CEO professionally.
- Coordinate information flows between the Executive Board, Leadership Group and external stakeholders.
- Line manage and develop the Executive Assistants, and partner with the Pub & Admin Support Manager to improve people, process and technology across the administration community.
Required profile
- Significant experience supporting C-Suite or executive-level leaders in a fast-paced organisation.
- Strong strategic planning, prioritisation and stakeholder management skills, with discretion and professionalism with confidential information.
- Excellent communication skills, including producing executive-level presentations, reports and board materials.
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail, able to handle complex logistics and multiple priorities.
- Experience leading, coaching or developing administrative support colleagues is advantageous.
What we offer
- Competitive salary and pension contribution.
- Training and development opportunities across the company's brands.
- 33% discount for staff and 15% for loved ones on all brands, and 50% off at Greene King Inns and hotels.
- Employee assistance programme covering mental health, well-being, financial and legal support.
- Refer-a-friend reward of £1,500 per successful placement, and Wagestream access to wages early.
- Retail discounts such as up to 30% off at Superdrug.
