Chartered Accountant

About the role

You will join a boutique advisory firm that provides strategic accounting, tax and business solutions to high‑profile UK and international owner‑managed companies. The role goes beyond routine compliance, offering clients commercial insight to support bold, long‑term decisions.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare statutory and management accounts for prominent clients.
• Delegate tasks and keep junior team members on track.
• Mentor trainees and help develop the next generation of accountants.
• Identify improvement opportunities and challenge outdated practices.
• Support partners and senior management with client portfolios.
• Participate in ad‑hoc projects such as due diligence, funding proposals and cash‑flow forecasting.
• Assist with audit planning and execution.
• Collaborate closely with the tax team and external professionals.

Required profile

• ACA or ACCA qualification (or close to completion).
• Collaborative mindset with the ability to work independently.
• Experience using accounting software such as Xero, QuickBooks, IRIS or CCH.
• Strong analytical ability and commercial awareness.
• Excellent organisational and communication skills.
