Chartered Paraplanner – Financial Planning Specialist

About the role

Join a boutique independent financial adviser (IFA) in Fareham that puts client experience at the core of its business. As a Chartered Paraplanner you will tackle complex financial planning challenges and help shape optimal outcomes for high‑net‑worth clients.

Key responsibilities

• Work alongside advisers to develop client strategies across complex financial planning cases.
• Conduct advanced research on pensions, investments, tax planning, trusts and estate planning.
• Prepare and review high‑quality suitability reports and financial planning documentation.
• Perform technical calculations including pension allowances, CGT, IHT and income‑tax scenarios.
• Produce and review cash‑flow modelling.
• Provide technical support during adviser discussions and selected client meetings.
• Help improve technical standards, templates and internal processes.

Required profile

• Completed Level 6 Advanced Diploma in Financial Planning (or equivalent).
• Excellent technical knowledge across pensions, investments, protection and taxation.
• Proven experience preparing and reviewing complex suitability reports.
• Confidence to question assumptions and contribute to adviser discussions.
• Collaborative approach with a desire to share technical knowledge.
