Chef de Partie - MAM London

About the role

A full-time Chef de Partie is needed for MAM London, part of Novotel London Blackfriars. The role plays a key part in the kitchen, working alongside a great team, and the employer is looking for someone fully flexible with shifts.

Key responsibilities

• Run and supervise any kitchen section to the standards set by the Head Chef
• Make sure all preparation for the designated section is complete and ready for each service
• Keep good stock and waste control, and check the quality of stock and prepared foods
• Cook to a high standard quickly and efficiently
• Keep the designated section clean and organised
• Support the Head Chef and Sous Chef in delivering the required standard of food
• Delegate tasks to junior chefs and apprentices and help them develop
• Carry out other duties assigned by the Head Chef and management, and make sure guests and non-residents have the best possible experience

Required profile

• Experience and ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to work cohesively as part of a team
• Flexibility with shifts
