Guest Service Manager

About the role

The Hoxton Shepherd's Bush, a London hotel with 237 playfully designed bedrooms, a wraparound bar and terrace and an all-day Thai-American restaurant, is looking for an experienced Guest Service Manager. The role leads the day-to-day running of the Front Office and inspires the reception team to deliver a memorable guest experience from arrival to departure.

Key responsibilities

• Run the day-to-day Front Office and lead and inspire the receptionists so guests receive an effortless Hox experience throughout their stay
• Lead by example, keeping the team involved, motivated and confident in delivering great guest experiences
• Ensure the right rates are used, manage overbooking levels and work with the team to keep the house full and happy
• Keep operations smooth and look sharp, working with the team to solve any issues

Required profile

• Hotel or leisure-related experience in a similar role
• Passion for hospitality and a desire to leave people with a memorable experience
• Team player who is not precious, willing to try almost everything once and enjoys sharing a laugh

Required skills

• Familiarity with Opera or a similar front desk operating system is a big advantage
• Understanding of GDS is a big advantage
