About the role
Join the culinary team at Sam’s Bar & Kitchen, part of The Belfry Hotel & Resort. As a Chef de Partie you will work a 4‑day on / 3‑day off rota, preparing and cooking high‑quality dishes for guests while supporting the kitchen manager.
Key responsibilities
- Set up and prepare menu items for your section, including advance preparation for the week.
- Cook and present dishes using fresh, locally sourced ingredients.
- Maintain allergen and dietary safety standards.
- Log temperatures for hot items and refrigeration to ensure compliance.
- Run your section during busy service and assist teammates for fast, accurate delivery.
- Clean and clear your station and other kitchen areas to meet hygiene standards.
- Apply COSHH and HACCP principles for safe food storage.
- Control portion sizes, record weights, and log waste for accurate costing.
Required profile
- Experience in a high‑volume restaurant or hotel kitchen.
- Ability to work independently and take ownership when the kitchen manager is absent.
- Strong understanding of food safety, allergens, and hygiene regulations.
