About the role

Key responsibilities

• Assist the Head Chef in creating balanced, flavourful menus tailored to resident needs.
• Prepare fresh, seasonal dishes to hotel‑standard quality.
• Manage kitchen operations in the Head Chef’s absence, including stock control and budgeting.
• Conduct regular audits and ensure compliance with HACCP standards.
• Lead, motivate, and support kitchen staff to maintain a warm, efficient environment.

Required profile

• Qualified chef with City & Guilds/NVQ/SVQ or equivalent.
• Passionate about resident wellbeing and nutrition.
• Experience working with fresh, seasonal food.
• Good understanding of HACCP and food safety.
