Chief Financial Officer – InsurTech with Equity Upside

About the role

We are seeking an ambitious Chief Financial Officer to join a market‑leading InsurTech business that is preparing for a strategic exit in 2028. Reporting directly to the CEO, you will act as the primary financial strategist and partner in shaping the company’s growth trajectory.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with the CEO to define and drive overall business strategy and growth initiatives.
• Build and lead a best‑in‑class finance function supporting a multi‑product insurance platform.
• Oversee capital allocation, reserving, underwriting performance and capital adequacy across the business.
• Prepare the company for investor scrutiny and exit readiness, ensuring compliance with IFRS 17/IFRS 4.
• Provide commercial insight and challenge at Board and Executive level, crafting the financial narrative that maximises shareholder value.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a CFO or senior finance leader within the insurance sector.
• Deep knowledge of IFRS 17 and/or IFRS 4 and insurance‑specific financial management.
• Hands‑on experience with reserving, capital adequacy frameworks and close collaboration with actuaries.
• Commercially driven, comfortable in fast‑moving, high‑growth environments.
• Strategic thinker with a willingness to build, challenge and innovate.
