Chief Financial Officer

About the role

The Group Chief Financial Officer will join a private‑equity‑backed industrial manufacturing group operating across Europe, the Americas and Asia. Reporting to the CEO and working closely with the Board and investors, the CFO will provide strategic financial leadership while remaining hands‑on in day‑to‑day operations.

Key responsibilities

• Provide financial insight and challenge to the CEO, Board and business unit leaders to drive performance and profitability.
• Develop and maintain consistent monthly reporting, budgeting and forecasting processes across all entities, including preparation of consolidated accounts.
• Oversee cash‑flow, working capital, liquidity and foreign‑exchange exposure.
• Manage lender relationships, borrowing facilities and covenant compliance.
• Establish and improve financial controls, systems and processes to ensure accurate reporting and governance.
• Collaborate with subsidiary finance teams to align international operations.
• Support value‑creation initiatives in line with private‑equity objectives.

Required profile

• Fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA or CIMA).
• Proven senior finance experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
• Experience in a private‑equity‑backed business or with external investors.
• Track record of managing multiple legal entities and international markets.
• Demonstrated ability to lead consolidated group reporting and enhance financial processes and controls.
