Chief Revenue Officer (CRO) – FinTech

About the role

The company is an international financial services group headquartered in London, operating regulated institutions across Europe and beyond. They are entering a high‑growth phase and need a strategic leader to own and scale all revenue streams across B2B and B2B2C markets.

Key responsibilities

• Full P&L ownership, driving top‑line ARR and bottom‑line profitability.
• Allocate and manage budgets for sales, marketing and account management teams.
• Design and execute pricing strategies and margin optimisation for diverse merchant tiers.
• Report financial performance directly to the CEO and Board.
• Develop the commercial go‑to‑market blueprint for enterprise merchants and software platforms.
• Build partner distribution programmes to accelerate embedded‑finance scaling.
• Lead complex sales cycles with corporate clients and financial institutions.
• Unify siloed commercial units into a single high‑performing revenue engine.
• Create incentive plans that reward long‑term profitability and foster a data‑driven pipeline culture.

Required profile

• Proven senior leadership experience as a CRO, VP of Sales or General Manager in payments, fintech, banking or digital‑banking environments.
• Demonstrated ability to manage budgets exceeding $20M and deliver aggressive ARR targets.
• Deep knowledge of merchant acquiring, embedded payments or SaaS pay‑fac models.
• Strong commercial acumen with a track record of scaling international revenue operations.
