Childcare Solicitor – Supervisor

About the role

G2 Legal Limited is expanding its Children’s Law practice and is looking for a Childcare Solicitor to take on a supervisory role in London. You will join a growing team, balancing hands‑on legal work with the management of a small group of solicitors.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and develop a small team of solicitors while delivering high‑quality legal advice on publicly funded childcare matters.
• Maintain the firm’s client‑focused ethos, ensuring exceptional client care and communication.
• Support the firm’s growth by contributing to business development, recruitment and the opening of new offices.
• Handle a varied caseload of childcare files, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and standards.

Required profile

• Minimum of 5 years post‑qualification experience (PQE) in children’s law.
• Current membership of the Children’s Panel.
• Commitment to providing publicly funded childcare services.
• Residence within a reasonable commuting distance to London.

Required skills

• Strong legal expertise in childcare and children’s law.
• Ability to manage and mentor junior solicitors.
• Excellent client communication and case management skills.
