Children's Emotional Wellbeing Practitioner

About the role
Faith in Families is seeking a compassionate Children’s Emotional Wellbeing Practitioner to provide trauma‑informed support to children in Swansea. You will deliver one‑to‑one and group sessions that help young people build resilience, regulate emotions and achieve positive outcomes.
Key responsibilities
- Provide individual (1‑2‑1) emotional wellbeing support to children who have experienced trauma, anxiety or attachment difficulties.
- Design and facilitate group sessions that promote emotional regulation and resilience.
- Develop personalised support plans and monitor progress against agreed outcomes.
- Collaborate with multi‑disciplinary teams, including social workers, educators and health professionals.
- Maintain accurate records and adhere to safeguarding and confidentiality policies.
Required profile
- Experience working with children or young people who have faced trauma, anxiety, attachment or emotional wellbeing challenges.
- Demonstrated empathy, dedication and the ability to build trusting relationships with vulnerable children.
- Willingness to work full‑time (37 hrs) or part‑time (20 hrs) as required.
