Children's Home Team Leader (Westbury)

About the role

As a Children’s Home Team Leader you will be at the heart of daily life for young people living in our residential setting. You will support their emotional, social and mental health needs while ensuring the home runs smoothly and safely.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee the day‑to‑day care of young people, promoting a stable and nurturing environment.
• Support and develop the staff team, stepping in for the Registered or Deputy Manager when required.
• Maintain high standards of health, safety and regulatory compliance within the home.
• Build positive relationships with young people, encouraging personal growth and resilience.
• Coordinate activities, outings and educational opportunities to enrich residents’ lives.

Required profile

• Compassionate and emotionally resilient with a genuine desire to help vulnerable youth.
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build trust with both young people and staff.
• Leadership qualities that inspire and motivate a team.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including occasional night‑time ‘sleep‑ins’.

Required skills

What we offer

• Base salary between £35,400 and £42,664 per year.
• Additional pay for up to three sleep‑ins per month (£80 each) and attendance allowance up to £1,400.
