Civil Litigation Solicitor (2+ PQE)

About the role

We are looking for a motivated Civil Litigation Solicitor with at least two years of post‑qualification experience to join our growing disputes team in London. The role offers the chance to manage a diverse portfolio of contentious matters for both private and corporate clients while developing specialist expertise in a supportive, office‑based environment.

Key responsibilities

• Manage a varied caseload of civil litigation matters from instruction through to resolution.
• Advise clients on litigation strategy, legal risks and commercial outcomes.
• Draft pleadings, witness statements, applications and settlement agreements.
• Conduct legal research and prepare detailed client advice.
• Handle cases in County Court and High Court, and represent clients at hearings, mediations and negotiations.
• Liaise with counsel, experts, courts and third parties, ensuring compliance with deadlines and procedural rules.
• Support early dispute resolution and contribute to business development activities.

Required profile

• Qualified solicitor in England & Wales with a minimum of 2 years PQE in civil litigation.
• Strong working knowledge of the Civil Procedure Rules.
• Proven ability to manage an independent caseload with minimal supervision.
• Excellent drafting, negotiation and advocacy abilities.
• High analytical, problem‑solving and commercial awareness.
• Strong communication, interpersonal and organisational skills.
