Civils Supervisor – 12‑Month Fixed‑Term Contract

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Civils Supervisor to join a leading UK fibre infrastructure company on a 12‑month fixed‑term contract. The role involves supervising civil and fibre works on major network build projects across London, England and Wales, with a mix of site visits and home‑based work.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise civil and fibre infrastructure works, including Openreach PIA and chamber installations.
• Manage subcontractors, ensuring quality, health & safety compliance and programme delivery.
• Carry out site inspections, quality assurance checks and re‑measurement of completed works.
• Coordinate travel to sites, initially around Greater London and later nationwide.

Required profile

• Proven experience supervising civil construction projects within fibre, telecoms or utilities.
• Ability to lead subcontractor teams and maintain high standards of quality and safety.
• Relevant construction health & safety certifications (SSSTS or SMSTS); NRSWA is advantageous.
