Claims Handler – Property & Liability (UK & Europe)

About the role
We are seeking an experienced Claims Handler to join a leading independent global loss adjusting firm. You will manage a portfolio of property and liability claims across the UK and Europe, working closely with insured parties, insurers, brokers, and field adjusters.
Key responsibilities
- Investigate, negotiate and settle property and liability claims from inception to resolution.
- Liaise daily with insureds, insurers, brokers and overseas stakeholders.
- Produce detailed claim reports and ensure compliant time‑reporting and billing.
- Collaborate with field adjusters when required.
- Attend client review meetings and maintain strong client relationships.
Required profile
- Previous claims handling experience with full caseload management.
- Proven experience in property claims covering all general perils.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong relationship‑building and negotiation abilities.
- Ability to thrive in a high‑pressure environment and meet targets.
- Industry qualifications or a willingness to study towards them.
- Willingness to work on‑site 2–3 days per week.
Required skills
What we offer
- Competitive annual basic salary between £23,000 and £30,000.

- Monday‑Friday, 9:00 am‑5:00 pm working hours.
- 25 days holiday plus bank holidays.
