Class 1 Driver – Day/Weekend Routes in Swindon

About the role

GXO Logistics is seeking experienced Class 1 drivers to join its Swindon team, delivering groceries for Iceland Foods on day‑weekend schedules. You will work night shift windows, ensuring timely deliveries that keep communities supplied.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver chilled, frozen and ambient products to Iceland stores on multi‑drop routes.
• Operate Class 1 articulated refrigerated and curtainside trailers during night shifts.
• Assist with loading and unloading cages and pallets, and return empty cages/pallets to the depot.

Required profile

• Full UK driving licence with C&E entitlement and less than six penalty points.
• No disqualifying endorsements (DD, DR, DG, BA, CD, AC, LC, TT).
• Extensive experience as a Class 1 driver, preferably on day‑weekend schedules.

Required skills

• Operation of Class 1 articulated refrigerated trailers.
• Operation of curtainside trailers.
• Familiarity with Lock‑and‑Drop shift windows (00:00‑04:00).
