Class 1 Driver

About the role

We are seeking a Class 1 Driver to join our busy Fareham Distribution Centre. The role offers stability, competitive earnings, and the chance to develop your driving career within a supportive team environment.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver products safely to customer locations across the region.
• Unload caged stock and perform manual handling tasks throughout the shift.
• Operate the vehicle in compliance with health, safety, and traffic regulations.
• Work outdoors in varying weather conditions and adapt to a fast‑paced environment.
• Represent Tesco professionally to customers on a daily basis.

Required profile

• Motivated and customer‑focused attitude.
• Comfortable with physical manual handling and working outdoors.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced, team‑oriented setting.
• Willingness to undergo pre‑employment drug and alcohol testing.

Required skills

• Valid Class 1 Driver licence.
• CPC (Certificate of Professional Competence) or willingness to complete fully funded CPC training.
