Class 1 Driver – Logistics & Transport

About the role

Join Gist in partnership with M&S to safely transport goods between depots and stores across Belfast and the Port of Larne. You will operate single or double‑deck trailers, handling manual loading and unloading of cages and trays while ensuring timely, compliant deliveries.

Key responsibilities

• Drive Class 1 (C+E) vehicles on scheduled routes, covering both depot‑to‑store and multi‑drop deliveries.
• Load and unload goods safely, using manual handling techniques where required.
• Maintain accurate delivery records and adhere to all road safety and regulatory standards.
• Communicate effectively with depot staff and store contacts to resolve any delivery issues.

Required profile

• Valid Class 1 (C+E) licence with at least 18 months of experience.
• Maximum six penalty points and no DD/DR endorsements.
• Comfortable with manual handling and multi‑drop routes.
• Completion of at least three CPC modules.
