Class 1 HGV Driver – Temporary Full‑Time (Manchester)

About the role

We are recruiting experienced HGV Class 1 (C+E) drivers for a busy trunking operation based in Manchester. The role involves depot‑to‑depot trunking with planned routes and no handballing, offering morning, evening and weekend shifts.

Key responsibilities

• Depot‑to‑depot trunking
• Planned and organised routes
• No handballing
• Transporting loads between national sites
• Completing vehicle checks and maintaining high safety standards
• Following scheduled routes and delivery times
• Maintaining a professional standard at all times

Required profile

• A valid HGV Class 1 / C+E licence
• Licence held for at least 1 year
• Valid Driver CPC
• Valid Digital Tachograph Card
• At least 180 days of Class 1 driving experience within the last 2 years
• No more than 6 points on your licence
• Ability to successfully complete required vetting and DBS checks
• A professional and safety‑focused approach to driving
