Class 1 Refrigeration Driver (Cat C+E) – Southampton

About the role

We are seeking a reliable Class 1 Refrigeration Driver to operate refrigerated lorries across Southampton and Eastleigh. The role offers flexible day, night and weekend shifts on a temporary basis with the possibility of becoming permanent.

Key responsibilities

• Operate Cat C+E, HGV1, LGV1 refrigerated vehicles for RDC, local depot and commercial deliveries.
• Maintain accurate paperwork and electronic records, including break times in line with WTD regulations.
• Ensure all documentation, tachograph data and delivery logs are up‑to‑date.
• Adhere to agency and client procedures, health and safety standards.

Required profile

• Valid HGV Class 1 (C+E) licence with no more than 6 penalty points.
• Holder of a Driver Certificate of Professional Competence (DCPC) card.
• Digital Tachograph card.
• 6 months to 1 year experience in refrigerated HGV1 driving.
• Good command of spoken and written English.
• Familiarity with the UK motorway network and WTD regulations.
