Class 2 Driver – Transport Team

About the role

Booker Group is looking for Class 2 Drivers to join its Transport Team at the Erith retail partner site. You will be responsible for safely delivering stock to independent retailer stores and may return with backhaul loads to the depot.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver caged goods to retailer locations on a rotating 2‑week shift pattern (48 hours per week).
• Handle manual loading and handballing of products, often in adverse weather conditions.
• Maintain and operate air‑conditioned delivery vehicles, ensuring CPC certification remains up‑to‑date.
• Take backhaul loads to the depot where required.
• Observe a 30‑minute paid break during each shift.

Required profile

• Valid Class 2 driving licence.
• Physical ability to perform manual handling and handballing tasks.
• Willingness to work flexible start times between 07:00‑11:00.
• Commitment to safety and punctual delivery standards.
