Class 2 Refuse Driver

About the role

We are looking for reliable and experienced HGV Class 2 (Category C) drivers to join our waste collection team in Surrey. This temporary‑to‑permanent position involves collecting waste from domestic and commercial premises while maintaining the highest safety standards.

Key responsibilities

• Safely operate a HGV Class 2 (C) lorry in line with road safety regulations and company policies.
• Collect waste from assigned routes, ensuring timely and accurate deliveries.
• Perform routine vehicle inspections and basic maintenance checks.
• Follow all health and safety protocols, including driving hours regulations.

Required profile

• Valid HGV Class 2 (Category C) driving licence with a clean record.
• Proven experience driving HGV Class 2 vehicles in a waste or logistics environment.
• Strong communication skills and a professional attitude.
• Ability to work independently, reliably and organise your day.
• Available Monday to Friday, 06:00‑14:00.
