About the role
Responsive Personnel is seeking reliable Class 2 Refuse Truck Drivers for a client in South Cerney. You will operate waste and recycling vehicles on a pre‑planned route, ensuring safe collection and delivery while adhering to health and safety standards.
Key responsibilities
- Drive waste and recycling trucks safely along assigned routes.
- Perform daily vehicle inspections and report any defects.
- Assist with loading and unloading of waste containers.
- Refuel and prepare the vehicle for the next day's use.
- Work outdoors in all weather conditions and adapt to flexible hours.
Required profile
- Valid Class 2 driving licence.
- Ability to work independently and follow route plans.
- Commitment to health and safety procedures.
- Willingness to work in varying weather conditions.
Required skills
What we offer
- Hourly rate of £18.21.
- Monday‑Friday shift from 06:45 to 15:00.
- Temp‑to‑perm contract with immediate start.
- Long‑term, stable employment in the South West.
