Classroom Assistant – Primary School (Calne)

About the role

We are looking for a patient and motivated Classroom Assistant to join a well‑respected mainstream primary school in Calne. You will work alongside dedicated teachers to create a dynamic learning environment for children in Foundation Stage, Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2.

Key responsibilities

• Support the delivery of lessons across core and foundation subjects such as Maths, English, Geography and PE.
• Engage with pupils, assist with classroom activities and help manage behaviour.
• Provide additional support for children with ASD, behavioural challenges or learning difficulties.
• Assist teachers in preparing resources and maintaining a safe, organised classroom.

Required profile

• Enthusiastic, dedicated and able to build effective rapport with young children.
• Recent graduate or experienced classroom assistant seeking a new challenge.
• Willingness to go the extra step to make a positive impact on pupils.
