Cleaner – Food Production Factory (Rainham)

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Cleaner to join a well‑established food production client in Rainham, Essex. The role involves maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene within a factory environment, supporting safe food handling and production processes.

Key responsibilities

• Perform thorough cleaning and washing of production areas, equipment and communal spaces.
• Handle manual tasks such as moving waste, containers and cleaning supplies.
• Follow strict health, safety and food‑allergen protocols.
• Complete a Level 2 Health, Hygiene and Allergen training course and chemical safety training.
• Work 12‑hour shifts on a rotating schedule (Sunday‑Wednesday or Wednesday‑Saturday) with potential overtime.

Required profile

• Previous experience cleaning in a food‑production or industrial setting.
• Ability to work physically demanding shifts and follow safety guidelines.
• Willingness to undertake mandatory training.
