Cleaner – School Facilities (12.5 hrs/week)

About the role

We are seeking a Cleaner to join the Facilities Management team at Hillyfield School in London. Working 12.5 hours per week on morning or afternoon shifts, you will help maintain a clean, safe and welcoming environment for staff and pupils.

Key responsibilities

• Clean and sanitise classrooms, corridors, toilets and communal areas.
• Vacuum carpeted floors and wet‑mop hard surfaces to keep them spotless.
• Empty waste bins, replace liners and ensure correct waste disposal.
• Replenish consumables such as hand wash, toilet roll and hand towels.
• Follow COSHH guidelines and health‑and‑safety procedures at all times.

Required profile

• Previous cleaning experience, preferably in a school, office or commercial setting.
• Good understanding of health‑and‑safety procedures and COSHH regulations.
• Attention to detail and pride in maintaining high standards of cleanliness.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a supportive team.
• Organised and capable of following cleaning schedules.
