About the role
We are looking for a reliable Cleaning Operative to join our team on a temporary, part‑time basis. The role involves maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene across commercial premises in Dorchester.
Key responsibilities
- Vacuum, sweep and mop floors
- Dust and wipe down surfaces, furniture and fixtures
- Clean and sanitise washrooms, replenishing consumables as required
- Empty bins and dispose of waste appropriately
- Clean kitchens, break areas and communal spaces
- Use cleaning equipment safely and store it correctly
- Follow health and safety procedures at all times
- Report any maintenance or health‑and‑safety concerns to management
Required profile
- Previous cleaning experience
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
- Good attention to detail
- Enhanced DBS check
